
David Jones was elected Member of Parliament for Clwyd West, North Wales, in 2005. He served as Shadow Minister for Wales and as a member of the Welsh Affairs Select Committee. He was re-elected at the May, 2010 general election with a substantially increased majority. He is now Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Wales Office.
He is married to Sara, with whom he has two sons and an unruly Jack Russell dog, Archie.
His particular political interests include home affairs, energy and the economy.
When not engaged in politics, he enjoys history, travel and walking.
He is an avid supporter of Liverpool Football Club.
