George hopes David Jones continues blogging. No reason why the rest shouldn’t carry on blogging is there ? I’m sure our M.P. will agree that communication is a two way process. He is after all in a position to perhaps implement sane suggestions now that most of the lunatics have been cleared out of the corridors of power.

Of course we understand your situation David, and forgive you. I just feel that in your absence others might comment on the Conservative Party ship’s progress during her maiden voyage in order to give a little support. I am changing my opinion of Captain Cameron. He seems to be all set to tidy the ship up in a seaman like manner. I want to add my puff of wind to his sails to keep him on a course which will lead us to a country fit for my grandchildren as adults. There will be storms ahead. Let’s hope Captain Cameron and midshipman Clegg can control the crew during this difficult voyage.

By the way, I’d still like to know if there is a plan “B” in case the captain gets blown overboard or something, and midshipman Clegg has to take the wheel ? A 1 at Lloyds doesn’t have the prestige it once possessed in case of loss at sea.

Having lived with builders, electricians’ plumbers and glaziers over the last year you have my sympathy.

Now if we could just install the floorboards in the barn renovation here there could be light at the end of the tunnel!
