I’m afraid there will be a Hung Parliament, because no one is talking reality. For example, David Cameron will stop state payments to the workshy, and cut down on unecessary bureaucracy. However, there is no explanation where all the jobs will be found to employ the millions thus deprived of their income.
We need drastic action. Please, what action exactly?
I have to say that I am revising my opinion of David Cameron after seeing him today with Andrew Marr, this Sunday morning. He is starting to hint at the drastic action which will have to follow to clear up the mess left by Labour. I am starting to realize that he would commit electoral suicide if he spelt out the truth of what must be done after May 6th. in the run up to the election.
We must trust the Conservative party to come up with the goods by giving them a resounding majority. I like the “contract” approach. Will it be like a real contract, legally binding I wonder ? A bit different to Labour’s “Social Contract” with the unions under Harold Wilson which was a failure, as are most Labour bright ideas. (he was making the contract with the Unions, not the people) This contract seems more concrete. The only thing lacking is something spelling out the concommitant responsibility of the voters towards the state.
I believe voters should make the contract with Cameron on 6th., May, and the public should be able to sue the Conservative Party if it fails to honour it’s promises. All government and public services should be run under the same conditions and laws as the private sector.
How would the police fare under the Trades Description Act one wonders?
Our only hope is a Conservative vote to save us joining Greece in the debtor’s court..
