This afternoon, Sara and I attended the grand opening of the new children’s play area in the village of Llanrhaeadr DC.
According to Paul Marfleet, the local county councillor, the project was originally proposed 31 years ago, so today was the completion of a very long journey.
Pride of place in the play area, designed by Rod Waterfield of Bodfari, went to a splendid carved oak totem pole, topped by a rather louche-looking owl. I thought I’d share him with you.
